Ottawa Marathi Mandal (OMM) is a Non Profit Organization (NPO) that helps to promote Marathi culture, its values and heritage.
It is a small community of people from Maharashtra, a western state of India who speak, understand and are appreciative of the Marathi language.
” बोलतो मराठी , ऐकतो मराठी, जाणतो मराठी, मानतो मराठी “
OMM was established to foster and cherish distinctive cultural heritage of Marathi speaking people from India, residing in the Ottawa area.
The main objective of this organization is to maintain Marathi culture, Indian values and the traditions by organizing musical concerts, staging dramas, dance performances, and encouraging active member participation in various social and cultural activities.
In order to pass on the Marathi cultural heritage to the next generation, all Marathi festivals are celebrated by OMM focusing on our customs, rituals and traditions.
